Scuba 3!

Madeleine loves water just like her Mommy and Daddy.

We gave Madeleine her first bath this afternoon. We were doing sponge baths because we had to keep her belly button dry. Madeleine did not seem to mind the bath at all and actually cried when we took her out.

Katie and Brian gave us this great towel that keeps the parent dry and makes it easy to dry the baby. Paul looks great in pink!

Weekend Fun

We had a very fun filled weekend!

Zoe came from NYC for a visit. She spent most of her time here holding Madeleine on her chest. Madeleine did not seem to mind at all!

Play time with Daddy

We celebrated Katie's birthday on Saturday night. Her bday was on March 17.

Jillian almost dropped the cake on top of Katie Such an exhausting weekend.

Growing and learning

Madeleine is only a little over two weeks old but she has already changed so much. She is much more alert now, looks at people and things longer, she has discovered her fingers, her neck is getting stronger, and she is sleeping longer at night.

Madeleine has discovered that she has fingers and that they taste pretty good! It is really funny to watch her try and get her fingers into her mouth.

She likes to hold her own binkie in place. I guess she is either afraid I will take it or it will fall out. Brian and Katie came over for a movie night. Poor Byron wanted some attention too.

Two weeks old!

I can't believe that Madeleine is already two weeks old! the time is already flying by.

Wake Up!

Yesterday Madeleine was wide awake at 5:30 when her Dad got home but today she ate and went back to sleep.

First Walk

We went for our first walk today. Madeleine enjoyed the walk until we got home. As you can see from the picture she started crying when we got home. We definitely need to buy our big stroller soon because the snap and go was a little bumpy on the sidewalks in Hingham. Byron enjoyed the walk too. He only almost got run over by the stroller once.

Scary or Cute?

My friend Jess thinks that this toy is scary and might traumatize Madeleine. I think it is cute and Madeleine loves to look at it. Her eyes get really big when I first bring it out.

First Easter

We went to Elizabeth and Lee's for Easter brunch. Madeleine was asleep most of the time that we were there.

Byron is starting to be more interested in Madeleine. Grammy bought a swing so that Madeleine has a place to sit downstairs. Aunt Sarah came for a visit this weekend. Studying Daddy Byron wanted to get a closer look. He gets a little jealous when Paul holds Madeleine.
