May pictures

May is a busy busy month and such a fun time of year.  Here are some random pictures from the past month.

So happy it's outdoor shower season
Claire started lacrosse... watch out because she has some speed behind her throws

 rare picture of us
Really... the snow is gone and they are still sledding

 Family bike ride
 Pirate day at Wilder
Now that she can read chapter books her nose is often in a book
 Wilder summer birthday celebration

No, no we canNOT get chickens!  The kids love our friend's chickens.

 A little street hockey
Tiny table filled with sand provides hours of entertainment.
Bridget is such a good helper
 BEACH!!
This is our happy place and there is no where I would rather be than at the beach with my family and friends.  Being only miles from the ocean makes putting up with the feet of snow worth it.

They have known each other since they were newborns and it is so hard to believe they are almost 5 and headed off the Kindergarten
She learned a lot at Wilder... even how to do the monkey bars!

Bike to School Day and Reading at Wilder

It was a town wide ride your bike to school day so Madeleine, two of her friends, and I rode the 1.5 miles to school and then home after school.  It was really fun and a great way to start off the day.

Later in the day I took Madeleine to Wilder to read in Claire's class.  She did a great job and Claire and her classmates loved it.  It was very strange being their with both Madeleine and Claire.  Madeleine seemed so grown up.
