Trouble

Bridget is one funny baby.  I can't take my eyes off of her for a second because if I do she gets herself into trouble.  These are only a tiny portion of the trouble I have found her in...

I often find her on top of things or in things.

Went upstairs to put away laundry and came back down to find her in the basket.  With a blanket!

Found her on top of the kitchen table when the older two were doing art.

 Went to answer the door and came back to find her standing on a stool shaking pepper everywhere.

 When she wants a bottle she goes over to the drawer and finds one and then yells milk.

She definitely keeps us on our toes and makes us laugh and smile every single day.

Swimming

Madeleine and Claire started swim lessons this week.  This is Madeleine's 4th session so she jumped right in with no problems.  She remembered the strokes that she learned last winter.  This was Claire's first time doing swim lessons.  She had been telling me for a couple of weeks that she was NOT going to go in the water without her floatie.  Luckily, she went into the water with no problems and did everything Katherine asked her to do.  I think both girls will have a great time doing swim lessons this Fall.

Madeleine's first day of soccer

Madeleine started town soccer this weekend.  My friend Molly and I are coaching the team.  It was so fun coaching and Madeleine had a great time.  She was so excited to play and tried her hardest.  When it was her turn to sit out she said to me while jumping up and down, "Mommy I have got to get in there."  Our team has a little work (okay, a lot of work) to do but they are all so enthusiastic and try so hard.  the Kindergarten program is on Saturdays and the first 40 minutes is practice and the last 40 minutes is a 5v5 game against another team.

Claire's first day at Wilder

Claire was so excited to start at Wilder.  She went in with no problems and when I picked her up she was all smiles.  She is a Huggy Bear like Madeleine so I know the teachers pretty well and there are 4 younger siblings of kids that were Huggy Bears with Madeleine.  It is a really cute class and I think she is going to have a great year.

Claire's ballet class

Claire is doing ballet with Ms. Jenn again this year.  There are 7 girls (5 from her class and 2 from the other 3yr old class) that go straight from Wilder to dance so it should be a fun year for Claire.

 Bridget stood at the door watching most of the class.  She even copied some of the moves.

Outdoor movie

We hosted an outdoor movie night.  It was a lot of fun and something I hope we can do again next summer.

Bridget's 18 Month Stats

Bridget had her 18 month well visit today.  She continues to be a happy, healthy, growing baby.  Well not baby, I guess she is technically a toddler but I will still call her a baby for a few more years.

She is 28.2 pounds and in the 96th percentile and 32 inches tall and in the 90th percentile.


on a side note... Madeleine was 1 inch taller and weighed 5 pounds less than Bridget at her 18 month well visit.  Claire had her 18 month visit at 20 months and she was 1 inch taller than Bridget and 1 pound less.  So interesting! 

First day of kindergarten

Madeleine was very excited to start her first day of Kindergarten.  When it was time to go she hopped on her bike and took of down the street towards the bus stop.  

 There are 17 elementary kids that get on the bus in our neighborhood.
