Busiest time of year

We have been busy having lots of holiday fun over the past week.

I was parent of teh day in Claire's class which was so cute and fun.

Writing letters to Santa

I volunteered in Madeleine's class.  At one point while working on an art project all the kids started singing Christmas songs.  It was really cute.

Winterfest and Art Show.  Madeleine's school does a shopping event where the kids go in and get to pick out presents for family.  Madeleine loved getting to go shopping all on her own.  She also liked showing off her art work.
Enjoying hot chocolate while Madeleine shopped.
B and C opening their presents from Madeleine.

Madeleine and Claire had their last swim classes of the year.  They have both gotten so much better and learned so much this session.

 Snow!

Claire had her mid year observation day.

We celebrated Paul's birthday

We hosted a going away party for Johnny and Deanna.  We had about 45 people at our house and it was a lot of fun.  Here is Paul getting the margarita machine ready (with Bridget's help).

And testing it out before the party

All the girls had fun at Caroline's birthday party.

We went to Edaville (a little amusement park that also has a train that you go on to see lights) with our playgroup friends.  It was freezing cold but fun.

Claire and I got stuck on teh flying elephant.  Luckily it only took a few minutes for the mechanic to show up.

Getting ready for more snow!

Tis the season

The Christmas fun is underway and I love it!

We put up the tree and Decorated the house on Saturday.
Bridget had fun putting decorations on the tree and taking them off the tree.

On Sunday evening we went with friends to see a Christmas concert in Scituate.

We have been very busy making Christmas cookies.  Madeleine and Lauren took the cookie making very seriously and did a really job making and decorating them.

Claire had friends over and we decorated some store bought sugar cookies.  I have never seen so many sprinkles used in my life.  I think they went through 4 or 5 jars and they each only had about 5 cookies to decorate.  The cookies looked gross but they had a blast!
