"To be an immigrant is to live in a perpetual state of gratitude mixed
with longing. You love your adopted country, are thankful for its
opportunities. You get to a point where a place that once felt like
another planet is home. But you’ll always be bound to the place where you grew up,
too. Sometimes its pull can hurt pretty badly. And all you want is to
taste the food you grew up with."

A few weeks ago Lisa sent me a link to a local Australia restaurant and catering company in East Boston. We headed in on Sunday to check it out and fill up on some Aussie cuisine.
Claire tries a lamington. She had already polished off the anzac "biscuit"
Madeleine wanted nothing to do with any of the food. The only thing she would eat was a Mars bar.

Claire helped Paul with a sausage roll
After leaving the restaurant we went to a near by playground because it was a beautiful day out and the playground had a nice view of the water and Boston.
