Happy Halloween

Our little kitty and dog.
A few months ago when I asked Madeleine what she wanted to be for Halloween she said without wavering that she wanted to be a kitty cat. As Halloween approached I asked her again and she still wanted to be a cat and she wanted Claire to be a dog. I figured this is probably the only year M can choose C's costume so I went with it.

We had pizza with some neighbors before going trick or treating

When the kitty is away the dog will dig in to the candy!

Cousins Halloween

K, B, & C come over so the kids could see each other dressed up.

After some playtime we took the kids over to Derby Street because the stores were handing out candy. It was really cold but the kids had fun. After trick or treating we went and had dinner.

Playgroup Halloween

This is the kid's 4th Halloween. Hard to believe that we have 4 years of pictures of these kids on Halloween.

Wilder Field Trip

Madeleine's class took a field trip to Weir River Farm, a local working farm in Hingham. The kids all had a blast and it was so fun to see Madeleine playing with her new school friends.

Soup

Claire loves to eat soup and she insists on feeding it to herself. I am not sure how much of it actually ends up in her mouth.

Rainy Day Fun

It was a gross rainy day so we stayed in all day. By the afternoon we all needed something new and interesting to do. Madeleine has started to want to play with Play-Doh again so we decided to make it a little bit more interesting by making our own. She had so much fun making it and watching the water, salt, and flour turn into Play-Doh.

Since Claire just eats Play-Doh she got to play with plastic sea animals in a bucket of water. It is amazing how much entertainment water provides.

Madeleine worked hard on her Play-Doh for about an hour.

When plain water gets boring adding bubbles makes it even more exciting.

Apple Picking

We headed up to Bolton, MA to go apple picking. The orchard is about an hour away but well worth the drive.

Yum, fresh apples! Madeleine had her fair share of apples but I was amazed by how many apples Claire ate. She pretty much ate apples non stop for 2 hours.

Claire fell and Madeleine helped her back up. It was very cute and sweet of her.
