Morning Dance Party

Claire loves to dance. She especially loves Firework by Katy Perry. Anytime she hears music she starts to dance. here is a video of her dancing while having her breakfast. She usually dances for longer but she had food in front of her so she couldn't dance for too long.

Summer Foods

The temperature might not feel like summer but that isn't stopping us from eating our favorite summer foods. Claire is loving all of the summer fruits and she knew exactly what to do when I handed her a Popsicle.

Happy Father's Day

We headed into Boston today to go to the aquarium. Madeleine loved the new sting ray touch tank.

Claire enjoyed the aquarium too.

We also went to an Imax. It was really fun watching Madeleine watch the 3D movie. We went out to lunch to a fun place that gave Madeleine a hat and Claire a balloon.

After lunch we went to a carousel.

Then Madeleine ran around in the grass before we headed back to the aquarium for a second look.

One Year at 5 Willow

I cannot believe that we closed on 5 Willow Cir. one year ago today. I love the home that we have created here, the fabulous neighborhood, and the beautiful meadow behind our house. I can't imagine living anywhere else and I often think how lucky we are that all of the timing and logistics worked out for us finding and buying this house. It is a great place for our children to grow up and create memories. Here are some pictures of the house. I thought I would do some before and afters but realized I don't really have "before" pictures. We didn't have to do too much before moving in. We painted all the rooms, refinished the floors, and did new window treatments. We have a long list of minor things we still want to do but for the most part the house was move in ready which has been a really nice change from the big projects at Hillside. * Living Room

Claire fell asleep while Laura was pushing her in the swing so when Paul got home he brough her inside and put her on her pillow pet. So cute!

Katharine and Benjamin brought their roller skates down a couple of weekends ago and they all had fun trying them out on the grass.

11 Months Old

Time continues to go by way too fast. I can't believe that Claire is 11 months old. She is such a fun and sweet baby. She is great at playing by herself, loves to explore, but is also very loving. She loves to cuddle and will often pull herself closer to hug or lay her head on me. She is such a love. I am sure before I know it I will be writing about how I can't believe she is graduating from High School.
