We started this blog in order to share pictures with our family and friends (especially those on the other side of the world). We will update with pictures of our kiddos as often as possible.

Uncle Wayne
Wayne was in NH for work so he came and stayed with us for two nights. It was great having him here. Madeleine took to him right away and loved playing with him.

We went over to Molly and Rich's last weekend for sledding. It was Madeleine and Paul's first time to sled.

"Superbowl" Party
We invited a few friends over for pizza last Sunday night. After we made plans we realized it was Superbowl Sunday... We turned on the TV and called it a Superbowl party.
Madeleine and Brandon thought it would be fun to empty all the toys off the shelves in the closet.

Sad News
I am so sad to write that our friend, Chris, passed away on Friday after a two year battle with cancer. We did not know Chris for long but we feel lucky to have met him and he will continue to inspire us for years to come.
I met Heather (Chris' wife) when Madeleine was 3 weeks old. I was determined to meet some people in Hingham so I joined a playgroup. Heather was there with her son Colin who is a month older than Madeleine. I was so happy and relieved to meet such a nice, down to earth woman. Not to mention she is a social worker!! The playgroup was big and the kids in it were about 6 months older. After that first day we pretty much got "kicked out" and were told by the coordinator of the group to start our own playgroup. A few days later a woman named Laura emailed me about wanting to join a playgroup. We were instant friends because her daughter was also named Madeleine and was born a week after my Madeleine. Laura brought her neighbor, Lara and her daughter Silvia, to the first group and that is how a group of wonderful women came together. Over the next few months more joined the group... Molly and Lauren, Nicole and Emma, and Lori and Brandon. I feel very lucky to have met these women as we have become very close and lean on each other for support.
Most of you have heard Paul or me talk about Chris, Heather, and Colin over the past few years so I wanted to post his obituary.
