Another relaxing weekend at home

Claire is so smiley. She loves to watch Madeleine run around and play. She laughs and smiles at her so much. It is really cute.

More Ice Skating

We went ice skating again on Sunday. Madeleine was a little better at balancing.

Colin came too. It was fun for her to have a friend trying it too.

Pushing milk crates helped her get her weight forward and balance better.

Ice Skating

We bought Madeleine ice skates and took her skating today. She was so excited to buy the skates and try ice skating. She was a little nervous once we were on the ice but overall she seemed to have fun and there were no tears. We were on the ice for about 15 minutes and she got a little better in that time. It will be a while before she can do it on her own but I think by the end of winter she will be close.

Close call but I grabbed her before she hit the ice.

Cheerioooooos!

Claire loves feeding herself Cheerios. Unfortunately, only about 10% of them make it into her mouth.

It is really hard work picking them up. She concentrates so hard.

Welcome 2011

It is hard to believe that 2010 has come and gone. It was a busy year for us... new baby and new house just to name a couple big ones. On New Years Day we put Paul's fire pit out front and had some neighbors over. There are several new families with young kids that have moved into the neighborhood. We are excited that Madeleine and Claire will have kids to play with. One little girls name is Madeleine too (but I think they spell it wrong, Madeline).
