Getting Ready for Christmas

We started getting excited for Christmas the day after Thanksgiving. Katharine and Madeleine helped Paul put the deer together.

Hot Cocoa and the Polar Express We are going on a "Polar Express" train ride next week so preparation we bought the book today. We also gave Madeleine hot cocoa for the first time while I read her the story. It was so cute seeing her drink out of a mug.

Thanksgiving

Paul and I hosted Thanksgiving at our house this year. It was a nice day but I did not take very many pictures. Here are a few random ones. * What is that stuff in turkey that makes you sleepy... oh wait, this was before the turkey!

Not sure what they are doing, but whatever it is they look happy.

First Solid Food

We gave Claire solid food for the first time today. We gave her rice cereal. She was not at all interested in eating it. She gave lots of funny faces and spit most of it out.

Growing Baby

We had Claire's 4 month check up today. She weighed in at 14.85 pounds and is 26 inches tall. She is 75th percentile for weight and 95th for height.

Conn Dinner Party

We had a mini Connecticut College Reunion on Saturday night. It was great getting together with old friends and catching up.

Jillian took care of Claire all night which was great.

Benji and Lauren were recently engaged. Their wedding is mid September 2011 in Stonington CT.

Halloween

Before Trick or Treating we went to a Halloween party at Molly and Rich's house. It was fun seeing all of teh playgroup kids dressed up. Our playgroup has gotten together for three years on Halloween.
