Pics I found on my camera

Before we went to Sesame Street Live a few weeks ago I let Madeleine watch a couple of episodes of the show. Here is a pic of her totally vegging out in front of the TV... exactly why I don't let her watch TV very often.

Ironing... can't wait until she can do this for real!

Weir River Farm

Today was the first day that the farm in Hingham was open so we had a picnic lunch and looked at the animals with some of our friends. All of the kids had a great time and really enjoyed seeing the animals. There were baby sheep born a couple of days ago but they weren't out today so we will have to go back next week to see them.
At first Madeleine was not sure about the Llama but then it was her favorite.

This can't be good!
Such a cutie!
Loving her dog.

Playground

Here are a few pictures from teh playground earlier in the week. The weather has been so nice so we have been trying to go to the playground a lot.
Madeleine looks so sad in the next two pictures... She was being very quiet and just sitting by herself with her baby doll. I asked her if she felt okay and she said, yes. I then asked her if she wanted to go play with her friends and she said, "No, I have to take care of baby doll." I asked her why she had to take care of baby doll and she said in a very sad voice, "because I left her." She had left her baby doll at her friends house over the weekend and she had just gotten her back. It was so sad that she was so upset about leaving her baby doll. I was also amazed how well she could articulate what she was feeling and why she had to take care of the baby. She has other dolls so I did not think it was a big deal that she had left one behind for a few days. Since then she has been obsessed with taking care of all of her babies.

Reading in bed

Madeleine has been waking up really early ever since we moved to the apartment so now we read in bed in the morning. Her favorite right now is the book filled with Curious George stories.

Sesame Street Live

A few of us went into Boston on Friday to take the kiddos to see Sesame Street Live. All the kids loved the show and sat perfectly through the whole thing. Madeleine only started watching Sesame Street a week ago but she loved every minute of the show and actually cried when it was over.

Easter

We had a really great Easter Sunday.... We woke up and Madeleine immediately started searching for easter eggs that the Easter bunny left for her.
Then she opened her Easter basket.
We then all got dressed and ready for church. Madeleine happily got ready since we told here after church there would be another Easter egg hunt. She is getting pretty good at finding hidden eggs.
Madeleine's friend Colin goes to the same church so they had fun hunting together. Colin checks out Madeleine's basket.

Easter Egg Hunt

We went to an Easter egg hunt today at a golf course in Hingham. Madeleine thought it was so fun to carry around a basket and the weather could not have been more perfect.
Madeleine loves bunnies so seeing a big bunny up close was very exciting. She was saying all day yesterday that she wanted to give the Easter Bunny a hug.
