My little helper

Madeleine "helped" me make cupcakes today. She looked so adorable in her little apron (that my friend Megan Parker gave her).

Good thing there wasn't anything in that bowl.

Trying to steal one!

I looked over at one point and she had her finger in the frosting of one of them.

I finally gave her one and she did not know what to do with it.

But it did not take her long to figure it out!

Watching

Madeleine watched some older kids playing and rollerskating on the street a few days ago. It was sort of sad because I think she wanted to play with them but they were about 14 years old than her!

Play date

The other Madeleine came over for a play date a couple of weeks ago.

They played very well together.

This one makes me laugh because I can imagine them looking at the camera with similar facial expressions when they are teens.

A few pics from the week

We took Madeleine to the beach on Sunday morning.

The water was freezing but she did not seem to mind. Paul put together her baby doll bed and she has loved playing with it.

Our playgroup went to the beach on Wednesday. This was the only picture I took.

Baby Brooke

I finally got to meet Jillian's baby yesterday. Brooke is so cute and so tiny. She was only 5 pounds when she was born and now a month later she is still smaller than Madeleine was when she was born. Both mom and baby are doing very well.

Madeleine was not sure what to make of Brooke. She got nervous when she would cry but she was also very curious. She is now obsessed with her baby dolls and is constantly saying baby.

Tall Girl

Madeleine went to the Pedi on Wednesday. She weighs 23 pounds which puts her in the 50th percentile for weight and she is 33 inches tall which puts her in the 96th percentile for height. I am not sure how she is so tall!
