Waiting for Daddy

Paul got back to the Vineyard last night. Madeleine could not wait to see him.

Bye Bye Ferry Boat

Madeleine is starting to say a lot more words. Some of her words include... Byebye, Hi, Eat, Baby, Cheese, Cook, Shoe, Up, Cheers, Boat (pronounced pup), That, Mine, Mama, Dada, uh oh. She also signs please and more and she nods her head for yes and no which has made life a lot easier for both of us. She can also make the sounds of various animals.

Bike

The kids all love the kiddie bike we brought. Elizabeth and I sometimes hide it so we don't have to spend the whole day pushing them around or we make them push each other.

We got Madeleine and Katharine to go in the by telling them how fun it would be to sit in a turtle. The water was freezing! * Madeleine was not happy at first.

After a few seconds she got use to it.

Eventually she was smiling and having fun.

Paul was so disappointed that Madeleine did not want to go in the kayak so he brought it up to the grass so she could play in it and get use to it.

4th of July Weekend

We went to South Beach for the first time this summer. Madeleine had a lot of fun playing in the water and sand.
