SUN!

It felt liek summer out this weekend so we spent most of our time outside. Madeleine loves to play outside.

My Mom gave her a sand and water table for her bday. It entertains her for hours a day.

Sad news

Finnegan died unexpectedly on Saturday. He was only six years old and it came to a shock to all of us. The wheaten terrier bread has a high incidence of a protein wasting disease which is what the vet thinks Finnegan had. He showed signs of being sick on Thursday and died Saturday morning at the vet. He was a fun dog with a great personality. I am going to miss him very much.

Happy Easter!

Elizabeth, Lee, and there kids came over for Easter Brunch. They had fun opening the Easter baskets and hunting for Easter eggs.

Katie and Brian stopped by for dessert and they brought Madeleine a cute Easter puzzle.

Gardening

It was a beautiful day on Sunday so we took advantage of the nice weather and got some yard work done. Paul had taken all the bushes out of the front garden last summer and we never planted anything new because every time we went to buy plants we got overwhelmed. So we decided it was time to just plant some stuff and see what happens. We picked out some things we thought looked nice but really we have no clue what we are doing.

Madeleine loved playing in the dirt. She was covered in dirt and loved it.

Best Buds

Since being back from Australia Madeleine has loved playing with Byron. She follows him around the house, tries to sit on him, hug him, and share her toys with him. It is very cute.
