Connecticut

We went to Connecticut College on Saturday to see a field hockey game and then we spent Saturday night at Zoe's parents house in Groton CT. It was fun being at Conn with Madeleine.

Hop Hop

We went to our neighbor's Halloween party last night. We ran around town yesterday looking for a costume for Madeleine and finally after going to about 5 stores we found this adorable bunny costume. She looked so cute!

Lions and Tigers and no bears

We took Madeleine to the zoo for the first time. We were surprised because she actually seemed to enjoy seeing the animals that she could get close to.

She especially enjoyed the lion. She pulled herself up for a closer look. How tall is our baby...? She LOVED the fish. We think that she will definitely be a scuba diver! We had fun getting very close to the Gorillas.

There was a guy that worked at the zoo standing behind us and he said that the Gorilla (I forget her name) loves to watch babies. Paul felt at home.. She was exhausted from the zoo.

The other day we were in Madeleine's room playing and she managed to mover herself backwards. She started where the open book is and quickly got herself nearly under the dresser.

Dinner with friends

Zoe was in town for a wedding and Brian's sister and her boyfriend were in town visiting over the weekend so we had a little dinner party. We started the day looking at Bridesmaids dresses for Katie's wedding and then we sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful fall day. The guys opted for a bar instead of looking at dresses... I don't know why!
