Katharine's Bday Bash

Katharine's 2nd Birthday is on October 1 but she had a party to celebrate on Sunday.
*
Paul hangs out with the two babies before the party starts.
Elizabeth and Katharine Madeleine really liked looking at all of the balloons. Family Picture of us eating! Madeleine makes a move for Katharine's birthday hat. Luckily though she was quick and moved it out of reach just in time. Madeleine then made a move for one of Katharine's new presents.

Splish Splash

Here are so bath time pictures that I took the other day. Madeleine really likes the water and seems to like sitting up. I have not gotten her any bath toys yet so she usually ends up playing with the wash cloth.

Saturday Morning

Madeleine is so happy in the morning. She loves to sit and play with her toys when she gets up. Paul on the other hand would clearly like to be in bed!

Fun with Boo Boo

Madeleine loves Byron! She watches him all of the time and when he gets close enough she will grab his hair. He seems to like her but most of the time he doesn't get to close. He also avoids going anywhere near her toys. I think it is really cute when they interact with each other. I think as Madeleine gets older they will become best buddies. Oh that reminds me... Byron turned two on September 22. It is hard to believe that we have already had him for two years, especially because he still acts like such a little puppy.
We sat on the sun porch for a while and Madeleine watched Byron look out the window, scratch, and sleep... very exciting stuff. Byron actually sat down right next to Madeleine. She kept reaching out to him but of course by the time I got the camera she pretty much stopped.

And here he is acting like that puppy we love so much. We were sitting on the day bed and he kept jumping on and off. He thought it was fun to jump over Madeleine and Paul and then bounce up onto the pillows.

Exersaucer fun

Madeleine was trying really hard to play and drink at the same time.

A week of pictures

My mom was in town for the week so we have been busy running around town and I have not had a chance to add to pics.

Madeleine chewing on her spoon while she waits for her breakfast. She really likes to eat! Her favorite food right now is pears. She also recently had asparagus which she seemed to enjoy.
Madeleine and Benjamin playing with the exersaucer. More playing Byron is still Paul's baby too

Night Out

We went out on Friday night to Katie and Brian's engagement party in Wellesley. It was the first time that we have gotten dressed up and gone out without Madeleine. We had a great time but unfortunately when we got home at 1:00 am Madeleine was still awake because she got a little cold and was having trouble sleeping. She is feeling better now but still has a little bit of a runny nose.

House Anniversary

15 Hillside Terrace Hingham, MA 02043
*
We closed on our house two years ago. It is hard to believe that we have already been here for two years. The house has really changed since we first looked at it.
*
We looked at our house for the first time in April of 2006 and we ran away scared. Then after looking around Hingham we decided that 15 Hillside might not be too bad after all. We looked at the house several more times and then we showed my parents the house to get their opinion. To our surprise they thought it looked like a good fixer upper. After a lot of thought we put in our first offer at the end of June 2006. They countered but we did not counter back. We were a little sad but also a little relieved because we knew the house would be a lot of work. So for the next 6 weeks we looked at what seemed like very single house in Hingham. We kept asking our realtor about the status of 15 Hillside. During the six weeks they got an offer but it fell through. Then at the beginning of August we asked our realtor again about the house and she said that they just had an offer but she was not sure if it was going to stick. Then later that day she called and said that the offer fell through and the sellers wanted to know if we were still interested. We put in an offer and within 15 minutes it was accepted. Now it is two years later and we are so happy that everything worked out. The house has changed a lot in the past two years and we really feel at home here. Take a look at the progress we have made
