Back to Martha's Vineyard

We took Lyn and Lisa over to MV for a quick tour.

We took the 7:15 am ferry over to the island and returned on the 6:15 pm.

We started at the Black Dog for breakfast the walked around Vineyard Haven. Then we drove around west chop and from there we headed up island to Aquinnah to see the cliffs. Then we went to Menemsha and walked around before heading to South Beach. We sat on the beach for a little bit and Paul and I went for a quick swim. After the beach we headed to Edgartown where we shopped, looked in some galleries and had lunch. We ended our day in Oak Bluffs where we did a little more shopping, looked and the Ginger Bread houses, and had ice cream. It was a very packed day but we all had fun.

Girls day in Swampscott

Jillian, Katie and I have not had a girls only day in a really long time. So on Saturday Katie Madeleine and I packed up and headed up to the North Shore for a day of relaxing and wedding planning (Katie and Brian recently got engaged).

The Ultimate Piece of Plastic

We finally broke down and bought Madeleine the worlds biggest plastic toy. It is the ugliest and noisiest thing I have ever seen but she loves it. She had so much fun playing in it.

Last Week

Katharine and Benjamin have this dog and Elizabeth thinks it is really annoying. So she decided that Madeleine needed one too.

Sweet Sweet Potato

Here are some pictures of Madeleine having Sweet Potato for the first time. She seemed to like it but a lot of it ended up on her face, hands, and bib. Feeding her has been pretty fun. She makes the funniest faces when she tries something new.

5 Months Old

Madeleine turned 5 months old on Monday!

Madeleine had a doctors appointment today. She weighs 16 pounds 3 ounces and is 26 inches tall. She is now in the 75th percentile for height and weight.

Drinking from a cup!

Since Madeleine is now having a little bit of solid food she also is suppose to have a few tablespoons of water everyday. She took immediately to the sippy cup. She only got a few little sips out of it but she seemed to like it. She looks so grown up holding onto her cup.

World's End

We went to World's End today for a walk and a picnic. World's End is a a park with trails and views of the ocean, Boston skyline, Hingham harbor, Boston harbor.

Madeleine really wanted to eat the bag of chips.

Madeleine had avocado for the first time yesterday. Here are some pictures of her having for the second time this morning.
