What a Lush!

Madeleine is really starting to reach for everything in sight. She wants everything and she wants it in her mouth. When I sat down at the table with her she immediately reached for the glass of wine.

Shenanigans

She started in the middle of the play mat!

Madeleine has become a little bit mobile in her own little way.

Sleeping half naked. Madeleine started to get a little diaper rash so I was letting her air out and she fell asleep. I guess having her diaper off felt pretty good. And in case you were wondering... Yes, she did pee and yes she missed the diaper. Katharine decided Madeleine needed a lot of toys to play with while she sat in her Bumbo seat. Madeleine trying to decide which toy to go for. Rain Rain Go Away

It was a rainy day today so we did lots of indoor activities.

Madeleine's T-shirt inspired us to go to the Black Dog for lunch. We walked there before it started raining but then had to be picked up because it started pouring.

And we ended the rainy day with a few games of Scrabble.

Chappaquiddick

We went to Chappaquiddick on Tuesday which is a small island off the eastern end of Martha's Vineyard. In all my years of coming to the Vineyard I had never been. A tiny ferry called the On Time takes passengers and up to three cars at a time between Chappaquiddick and downtown Edgartown.

Yum Lobster

I just thought this picture of Paul was really cute and funny.

Beach Plum

We went to the Beach Plum Inn for Dinner last night. It is one of my favorite restaurants because it has great food, a beautiful garden, and great views. All of the little ones were very well behaved.

Madeleine was worn out by the end of dinner and ready for bed.

Past Couple Days

It has been pretty hot here the past few days so we have been trying to keep the babies cool. On Thursday we stripped them down and when that wasn't enough we gave them a bath.

They seemed to enjoy bathing together.

Sitting Pretty

Madeleine is getting so good at sitting on her own. She gets better and better everyday. I think that by the end of the summer she will be a pro.

We went to Edgartown on Monday with all the kiddos. It looked pretty funny having three carseats in the back.

Madeleine helping Elizabeth make a salad. Madeleine sitting up all on her own. It only lasted about 25 seconds but she is getting better at it each day.

South Beach

We went to the "big" beach yesterday without the two little ones. It was fun having a toddler at the beach because it got us playing in the sand.
