Christmas Day

On Christmas morning we get up and open our stockings from "santa claus"

Katharine took one thing out of her stocking and was happy. Like most babies she had more fun playing with the boxes and wrapping paper than the actual toys.

Posing withour stockings (I look a little tired). After we open our stockings we have breakfast. My Dad cooks everyone omletes and my mom makes a coffee cake.

After breakfast we open presents.

My mom got 4 web cams so she can have one and all of her children can have one. She was excited that she will now get to see her kids and grandkids via the internet.

My Dad gave Paul good knives because at Thanksgiving he was not impressed with the knife he had to use to carve the turkey.

Paul spent most of the day doing his favorite thing... Playing on the computer and setting up all of his new gadgets!

Christmas Eve

Every year my mother insists on taking a gazillion pictures before we go to Blanche's (old family friend) Xmas Eve party.

Blanche has hosted this Christmas Eve party for about 50 years -- my father started going when he was a little kid. The highlight of the night is when the "bell lady" comes. She plays the piano and we sing carols. Then she pulls out these old plastic bells, each of which has a number on it...when your number lights up on her little gadget (see below), you ring your bell. It's supposed to sound like a carol (but never really does!)

At the end of the night, Katharine was so tired and reached for Paul -- she wanted her buddy to hold her...it was super cute.

More snow!

It snowed again today!

It snowed about a foot on Thursday and is snowing agian today.

I am in Oklahoma and Paul is home with Byron and Cooper.

They have been having a lot of fun playing in it.

Byron still loves the stump. Byron had some serious dryig off to do!

Sarah was in Boston for a few days for work and the rental company gave her a Hummer.

It was really funny seeing her drive such a giant car.

Snow

We got about two inches of snow on Friday night. Byron loved playing

in it on Saturday morning.

His new favorite thing to do is to jump up on the stump.

Face Lift

We finally had the outside of our house painted. We are so happy with the way it looks.

Poor Byron!

Byron really wants the baby's stuffed animals! I was in our bedroom and I heard Byron crying. I walked into the nursery and he was sitting there staring at the toys. He stayed there long enough for me to get my camera. We are going to have a hard time keeping Byron away from the baby's toys because he loves stuffed animals and any toy that makes noise.

Australia Lamp.!

We saw this lamp at a baby store and had to have it! All of the furniture for the nursery has been ordered and should be in before Xmas. We are so excited that the nursery is almost done.
